AAWireless - https://www.cpeb.it/ +

Then there's the CarPlay only CPLAY2air - https://cplay2air.com/

I presume all require you also to have wireless charging too otherwise the powerdrain will be too much? Hence I'm not bothering with the present car since I don't have wireless charging.
That's great news, hopefully the competition will eventually drive prices down.

I'm not sure about battery drain. I don't think it will be too bad as the phone screen will be off but it is a very good point.

I actually ordered one and I believe Qashowner did as well. Mine works flawlessly with my J12. I planned on just using two sided tape to put it in place inside the armrest but haven't done so yet.
That's good to know, thanks. What phone do you have?
I have a Oneplus 7 pro with android 11.
Ilkka, the acenta premium doesn't have wireless charging. Could you try plugging your phone into one of the USB sockets while you are running your AAWireless to see how your media system reacts please?
The worst case scenario is having to unplug the dongle and run AA via cable.

What are peoples views on the Carplay2air , I’m a new QQ owner and disappointed it isn’t wireless CarPlay . I have the wireless phone charger so could use my USB ports for this kit
It’s discounted right now to £91.95 GBP so very , very tempted

Android Auto is very hit and miss on my 19 Plate QQ.

Some days it'll work fine, and others it'll "stutter" with any podcasts playing off my phone (Samsung S21) or it'll "lock up" When running Waze.

The only way to cure it, is to pull the cable out of the phone and re-connect it...

Tried a new phone to USB cable - same result.

Methinks it MIGHT be my USB port, as my QQ won't let me do map updates via USB - or it'll occasionally suddenly turn the radio off and start playing music off the USB stick...

For any Limited owners frustrated by the lack of wireless carplay I use a carlinkit 3.0 adapter for wireless access.

I had been using it in my nissan for the past year and a half and it worked pretty good 95 percent of the time.

First 2 days with it in Santa Cruz I was getting frequent restarts.

I updated the firmware last evening and it immediately seemed more stable.

I got a carlinkit 3.0 last month, the product is great and compact. Most of the times connect to the phone immediately after starting the car, but few times there is a lag. The wire connecting the unit to the USB port should have been more long.
