Which usb socket is used for data in the j12 Tekna. What method are you using to connect Usb a or C. Is there enough space for 90 degree cable?

Have you not requested the handbook?

Looks like an A and a C in both locations.

Or with lesser grades use the one in the front:

Yes I do have handbook, just wondering if anyone had any real world use. As in current car music is on micro sd so just wonder a) is there a limit to about of GB and what difference it makes if you use usb a or C.

I haven’t used any of the USB ports because I’m using wireless Apple CarPlay but I’ve found this information in the separate NissanConnect owner’s manual. It would appear you can use either USB port with the in-vehicle audio system:

Hopefully there won’t be any missing USB ports? :?

Tesla is delivering some EVs without USB ports due to chip shortages: https://www.engadget.com/tesla-delivers ... 16014.html

Great thanks. I'll keep a mirco usb then in usb a and use c slot for Android auto. As guess you can select slots, rather than having to pull out cables.

Yes, you should have a choice of two options to select the audio source:

  • You can use the steering wheel controls and the screenshot* below will appear in the driver information display above the steering wheel where you can select AM/FM/DAB/Bluetooth Audio/USB. In addition, I have Apple CarPlay showing as well - that would obviously show Android Auto if connected via USB cable (*screenshot taken from Nissan Driver’s Guide app).
  • You can also select the audio source using the Nissan Connect SatNav touchscreen.
Also, the Audio Source will briefly flash up on the HUD (where fitted) when you swap the source. I thought it would display the information permanently on the HUD but that’s not the case.
