It looks like there are no speed camera warnings anywhere for the J12. You would think that these would have been included in the Tekna+.

I will use Android auto until something else is available.
Thanks for the help.
Ed.

I haven’t tried it in my Tekna yet but, according to the separate NissanConnect Owner’s Manual (pages 76 & 105) there is a Safety Camera Warning Indicator for the in-built SatNav - maybe model dependent?

The above post indicates that "Custom POIs" can be loaded. So POI must be listed within the headunit menus somewhere...and where fitted?

If true then Safety Cam csv files can be loaded under the the Safety Cam Warning Setting (Category?). That should trigger both advanced distance from Safety Cam warnings and the Safety Cam symbol. So look for the setting in the Nav menus.

Found it!
On navigation map
Press settings
Then Navigation
Scroll to safety guide settings
Scroll to safety camera settings
Set both to on.
My map is now showing cameras, and it works as i've just been out to try it.

This works for Tekna+, I don't about other models.
Hope this helps

.....

The questions now arise...where does the Safety Camera data come from? Is it up to date? Is it User loaded?

Glad you’ve got it working!

Confusingly, although it says ON you have to press the screen next to each option until an orange circle appears, then each function is ON!

Just thought I’d point that out in case someone finds this post at a later date :)

Just for reference, the location of speed cameras in and around Blackpool. You might be reaching for the mute button before too long!

I’m guessing it uses the automatic TomTom Live updates, using the car’s in-built SIM card, free for the first 3 years then £2.99 per month thereafter? 🤷🏻‍♂️ :?
