I also got them enabled on my J12 tekna+. We got new cameras around city like a year ago, and they are present in the map, so its pretty recent data.
Current: Nissan Qashqai 2021 J12 1.3 MHEV 158 Xtronic 4WD Tekna+ (Magnetic Blue)

Thank you so much !
This really made my day.
These speed camera and road informatory-features are really important (to me).
*Any* 2021 navigation system without such options is, IMHO, utterly worthless.
We need to know where there are accidents, roadblocks, speed cameras ... it is not like we are still in The Sixties !?
That is why I never use my in-car navigation system, but always Android Co-Pilot and Waze.
Yet if TomTom proves to be less accurate then I plan to stick to Waze.
Monthly 2.99 pound/euro (after 3 years) is worth it to me ... if it delivers.

On navigation map
Press settings
Then Navigation
Scroll to safety guide settings
Scroll to safety camera settings
Set both to on.
My map is now showing cameras, and it works as i've just been out to try it.

This works for Tekna+, I don't about other models.
Hope this helps
Ed.

Thanks for the help from other members.
Thanks for coming back to tell us...quite a relief

A special thanks to Sandgrounder for the pics. It certainly makes it better than the text to see what to look for.

I suppose asking why you need them is pointless too? :)

To be honest, mobile speed traps are so prevalent these days compared to fixed ones that I can't really see the point much of the time.

If you're really concerned use Waze.

Indeed Gloucester, mobile speed traps are a nuisance, but fixed ones are everywhere. I suppose I will use Waze nevertheless, but the big deal with TomTom is that it is displayed in the digital dashboard and HUD!
Now why I love to be aware of speedcams... you indeed don't have to ask :-)

I mentioned POIs earlier...so did anyone see in the Nav menu/sub menu anything about loading POIs?

On the last Connect 3 headunit (2017/19 - ish) the function title was "My POIs". That will allow Mobile Speed Cam positions (Lat/Long) to be loaded ....manually. And specific route planning with waypoints should be loadable.

I have a Mobile Speed Cam placement around the corner from my house (about 500yds) which I have to have marked and to ding at me often. Can so easily forget and move toward it at about 35mph. Others pop up from time to time that can be plotted on Google Maps.....the Lat/Long added to a My POI file.

The business of Tom Tom supplying Speed Cam stuff is weird. It won't be from any "official source". You can get current UK roadworks as link which might be local council/water authority etc related: (also jab/test stations...if u want a quick prick?)

Beware of using this stuff in France...touchy

No problem at all, thanks for letting me know. :)

Keep us up-to-date with your experience with the SatNav, if you get time! :geek:

There’s nothing obvious about loading POIs into the Connect unit. There is a map update option, via WiFi and USB, but a warning comes up that I need to disable Apple CarPlay as that appears to take preference over Nissan’s OS? :?
