2014 1.2 Dig-T UK

After clutch replacement I started getting the stop start fault with the car going in to limp mode (P0191, P0090)
Left it back to the garage and they checked out what they had done and said it was an unrelated issue, and they recommended another garage to help sort the issue
After the pressure sensor was replaced, am now getting told I need a new high pressure pump - with a hefty dealer price tag
Any recommendations on how what I do next?

Welcome to this forum

I'm not sure what you're wanting to know or hear.

The simple answer is "Get the pump replaced."

It might help others if you state the mileage?

51k miles, so it’s not used a lot. The quote I got for the high pressure fuel pump was c£2k - am no expert but that seems alot.

I see the pump (various makes) on the web at about £200 new. I suspect what Nissan might supply would be Bosch....at least twice the price. Add £200 max to install etc and its about £600 add VAT.

So get some quotes..its a pretty easy job.

I'd agree £2k seems ridiculous - try another dealer if the car's mobile?

It's a classic Nissan ploy, when I had the X-Trail they did the same thing with regards to the fuel pump, even though they sold the replaceable service parts that fitted to the pump.
