Morning all...I need to make a warranty claim for the dreaded white worm on one of the wheels.

Not sure if this has on bearing on a successful claim but, the car is about 2.5 years old and has only covered 5700 miles.

So, having never submitted a claim before, is it just a case of taking the car to the dealer and talking to customer services?

Weasel, not sure how it works in the UK with Nissan Dealers, but here I have progressed everything through our Dealer. On the Juke there was some Production Body Work problems at the Rear - New Panels / Re-Spray. On the QQ J11A there was the FIAMM Battery Change, Condenser and Nissan Connect System was replaced. Out here is the “Land of Paper”, I have learned to document every detail so I take pictures, document the problem and then send it to NCS. At NCS normally a Customer Service No. Is given and the Dealer is contacted as all Technical issues goes through the Dealer as NCS are Not Technical. I have never filled out a complaint form because you pay for a Guarantee and that is to me a Dealer responsebility.
If you send an email to NCS you should get a return email with a Customer No. to start the Ball Rolling.
At our Dealer there is a System where the Data is sent to Nissan on the Problem, Dealer is normally asked to “try this and that” before replacing parts and getting the OK from Nissan. All I can say is our Dealer has handled everything without complaint and that is why I am still with them - Dave 😊
Best of Luck and do not forget the “White Worm” Problem is known ! 😡

I had my wheels swapped out and it's a known problem, so don't let dealer fob you off.
They normally come out & take photos of damaged wheels and submit to Nissan HO for authorisation.

In some cases they have the authority delegated to them so can order new ones, without having to get
Nissan's OK.

You'll need to go in to Dealer's Service Dept., for process to start.

They took photos of mine - and then did nothing - but it was a successful claim a year later...
