HBA stands for High Beam Assist. I guess those have additional functionality???
If those are more expensive that would make sense. Otherwise it might be some countries don't allow those type of foglights?

QaiFan, Thanks for that comment these facts are interesting and more knowledge is great to have it keeps you informed - Dave 👍😉

“Automatically switches headlights to low beam from high beam and back to reduce driving burden. This system automatically switches the headlights setting to low beam from high beam when it detects a vehicle ahead. Frequent usage of high beams allows for earlier detection of pedestrians, supporting safer driving.”

I wonder... If you can pick one type over the other, how does the car know which type is installed unless the fog lights has a chip that reports it!?
Probably only some trims can make use of the HBA type?

Interestingly the only references when you Google those part numbers is the accessories brochure.

I thought all Qashqais have High Beam Assist - certainly all including Visia have "Automatic Headlights" and nothing appears as a supplementary on higher trim levels.

When you look into the Nissan U.K. “Configure Your Qashqai” Under each QQ Model - Section “Ventilation & Visibility” you will find the following - just referring to Headlights only ! - Dave 😉

Model : Visia / Acenta Premium / N-Connecta :

This video is purely for information and might explain the functions (NOT J12) it’s a US Nissan Rogue Sport 2020 :

Please note that by saying "nothing supplementary" I was referring to no specific reference to High Beam Assist being added as functionality, hence it must be covered by "Automatic Headlights". Obviously the headlights are actually improved on the higher spec models.

In Greek accesories catalogue there is not an option for Fog lights KE6226U512/KE6226U513. Do you know if there is any online shop that someone could buy them?
