Qashqai Model: Mk.3 Qashqai - J12 (2021+) New Model

Post by Sandgrounder »

I’ve seen quite a few new Qaqshqai’s on the road today and a few people, on the Facebook groups, have taken delivery of theirs - some of which have arrived earlier than expected.

Hopefully more will be leaving the factory soon for those who are waiting! :) 🤞🏻

We went with an automatic too, by the time it arrives I’ll have to ask for another test drive before picking it up as it will be so long since the first one I will have forgotten what to do
Awaiting delivery of QQ Tekna+ hurry up please, I’m impatient :D )

Some Tesla models are now being delivered without USB-C ports due to chip shortages. Not all customers were informed in advance!

sandgrounder, it seems to be april 1 already !
No USB-C ports in a ... Tesla ... can't imagine their customers to be happy.
I am really, really curious *how* I will get my J12 Tekna+ ... that to me being more important than ... when !!!
Getting all that new tech was the whole idea and reason why I, personally, decided to order a 2021 model ... otherwise I'd better stick to my old car.

Strange how a lot of Tekna models now have a December delivery moved from march 2022 to met quarterly delivery targets?

Or some key components might have become available earlier than expected maybe.

Nissan undoubtedly want to build cars and sell them to customers. They do not want to delay building them or selling them. They are a business that has to make money from building and selling cars. Anything else is commercial suicide.

I'd have thought some might think it good news that come cars are being brought forward..I know I would be if it was mine.

I am thinking more in the direction of what car makers like BMW and general motors are trying to pull off... if Nissan would decide to do the same it could mean Tekna and Tekna+ without heated seats, panoramic roof or so!?
That might also explain the sudden delivery of cars this year still that might otherwise have been delivered in 2022.
Fingers crossed!

Wasn't fussed either way as march would be 22 reg and December is sooner and when originally told when ordered and now appears December. It only a car after all.

A couple of new ‘71’ plate cars have appeared on the estate where I live - an Audi TT and a Ford Focus. Just a trickle of new cars appearing from other manufacturers as well. ;)

At least Audi UK and Ford UK display prominent messages about delays in production due to the shortage of semiconductor chips:
