Will the speaker adaptors be required on both front and the back speakers?
I will go with your advice and fit the component speakers upfront and the co-axial speakers at the rear.

Sorry, I just saw your reply - yes, you need the adaptors for both front and rear

If you do get them to fit, make sure you test a variety of music before you drive away - rattles and vibrations will present themselves at different frequencies, and really after a professional fitting you shouldn't expect any except possibly at very high volumes. Try some stuff with a lot of bass, even if it's not your usual taste!
Not been to a Nissan Dealer lately? £144 per hour is their rate. So an hours work for £55 is quite cheap :D

Just to chime in for people with the Bose system, if you have an Android phone (rooted) you can use Viper4android over Bluetooth and enable a few EQ settings like Bass and Clarity and its honestly the only way I actually heard the Bose sub from the boot, the bass from it was actually impressive! The clarity setting I think it's called really heightens the tweeters on the dash and overall sounds a heap load better, for a cost of nothing I'd also give that a quick go because it could potentially satisfy most peoples requirements. I'm personally still looking for a half descent underseat subwoofer just because the stock bose sub completely misses out some lower frequencies but its still really good at the rest.

Hi Alan sorry for the late reply, I went with these in the end - vibe-slick-6in-coaxial-car-speakers from Halfrauds £40 a set,
I bought 2 sets for the front and rear and you also need speaker adaptors which I bought from EBay.
I also purchased a set of plastics door trim removal tools and did the job myself . As a total novice it took me about 1.5 hours to do after watching a few YouTube videos on how to do it.
Sounds much improved than standard speakers , to get the most out of these speakers you would also need to buy a small amp - vibe do a 4 channel one for about £70 on eBay.
Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.
