The Isofix mounts are concealed with zips:

The boot was very similar to a Qashqai with the same sort of floor boards. It seemed quite high off the ground though and the clearance between floor and parcel shelf didn't seem very generous. If you opt for the twin-motor version you apparently lose the lower boot area and presumably just get a normal boot floor

The left side recess in the boot is separated off and has a strap - this is where the charging cables are intended to live. I'd have preferred a more durable finish than the usual boot lining at this point considering the cables might be dirty or wet. However more thought than other cars which seemingly omit this requirement.

The rear side windows don't go all the way down - but at least all four windows are AUTO equipped!

There are these panels of ambient lighting dotted around - not sure if they colour change too - these were always white:

The headup display was wonderful - you can hardly see it here but it was very clear in reality:

I wasn't overly impressed by the heater controls. Even though they're haptic, you still have to look closely at what you're pressing, and if we all too easy to accidently trigger them. The notable reason I took this picture was to show how relatively hidden the hazard warning switch is - not at all easy to see in a panic!

The moving central armrest is quite large and I expected a large storage compartment, but no, there's hardly anything in there. Just the wireless charging pad (and no wireless AA either). The tambour slide has two cupholders. So storage is really rather disappointing really only being the central glovebox and the door bins.

I didn't take any general pictures of the interior but found it really rather dull and unexciting. Here's a "library" picture from Nissan showing it's a sea of charcoal:

However as with the J12 Tekna (only!) there's a light version available - here's a picture from Top Gear showing it - and I think this is surely the option to go for depending on its availability:

I'm really surprised they're not showing the car with this much more interesting and lively interior.

Here's a recent "features" video which shows the instruments, albeit the car shown is not UK spec and I've spotted several differences in places:

its a nice looking car........ will be interesting to see how it does head to head against the new face lifted E-Niro. (the former one was a superb car but - imo butt ugly, the new one looks far nicer to my eye.)

I would love one but need to time travel 4 years and hope 2nd hand prices are sensible.

I agree about the lighter trim looking far nicer.... possibly not young child friendly however

Thank you gloucester !!!
IMHO a beautiful car !
The haptic climate controls might indeed pose a bit of a problem.
The white interior looks just as nice as the black one ... would be hard for me to choose.
Love the upgraded dashboard and infotainment system too ... at least as far as I can tell from the Youtube video.
I, personally, only wish this had become the new e-power QQ and not a true EV because then I even might have traded-in my Tekna+ for the (fictional) "e-power Ariya".
(a true EV -when not acquired as a company car- seems still a bit early to me in my country anyway)
Thanks again for all the nice pictures and informative comments.

One thing I've noted in the TopGear article - https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/nis ... a/interior - is the curious range being shown on the display:

dont some electric cars intelligently adapt to how they have been driven in the few journeys previously...... so if you have some boy racer types hammering it, not only will the range for that charge plummet rapidly, the following next few journeys will also be effected as it will assume the same driving style going forward.?

i know most of my electric car owning friends have said it makes you a far more environmentally friendly driver when on long motorway trips as you are definitely encouraged to keep the car close to the speed limit for the sake of range.

That applies to any vehicle. If I'm on a motorway and not in a hurry I drive at about 60mph, keeping up with and occasionally passing large lorries. Why go any quicker?
