Thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it. Gonna take of the sensor over the weekend and test for hot air coming out of the exhaust pipe.

Wonder if the pipe being blocked would cause the ECM to stop sending power and signal to the alternator hence why battery is showing less than 12v

Hopefully this fixes my issues.

Let you know how I get on.

Hi am having exactly the same issue with my 2014 1.5 dci qashqai 60k on the clock - Battery light, chassis control faults, battery not charging. Suspected to be alternator but that didn’t fix it

Can you confirm the solution was?

Facing exact same situation. Alternator replaced. Both Alternator and battery are healthy but still getting battery warning light, check engine light, start/stop failure, anti slip light... Were you able to resolve the issue Qashy and K9myp

Yes, battery light comes on straight away... i have changed battery and alternator. Car runs fine, healthy voltage on idle and while running, but the battery light is refusing to go away

Yes, new EFB 096 battery fitted.
I have an appointment with Nissan next week to diagnose the issue.

I have checked all fuses and they are fine. Along with battery, also getting s/s failure, forward emergency break light and anti slip light.
