Side lights indicator on in the morning

Hello.
I have qashqai 1.5dci 2015.y.
The problem is when i get in the car in the morning on the dashboard i see side lights indicator is on.
Everything is normal,there are no lights lit but the indicator is on.
When i start the car it goes off after 5-10 seconds.
What do you thing the problem is?

Not a problem, my 2014 model J11 is the same. It is probably some diagnostic going on.

Doesn't it come on because when you unlock it the sidelights come on? Look at the instrument panel as you do it.

I will look to see if it comes on when i unlock it.
But if i rember correctly i didnt see this indicator coming on before when entering.

AFAIK its two functions on 2017 and later:
1. Daytime Running Lights > <
2. Follow Me (after door locking and opening)
Selected on the Steering Column Stalk and when on illuminates the Combination Display green LED

The 2014> J11 has "Follow me home" lighting - it's called:
âFriendly Lightingâ
The âFriendly Lightingâ function is a convenience
facility. It allows you to provide lighting from the
vehicle after the ignition switch has been turned to
the LOCK position and the headlight switch is in the
OFF or AUTO (where fitted) position. Pulling the
headlight switch toward you once will activate the
headlight for approximately 30 seconds. After that
period of time, it will automatically switch off.
It is possible to pull the headlight switch up to four
times to increase the lighting period up to 2 minutes.
In fact the wording is the same in the 2019 manual:
âFriendly Lightingâ
The âFriendly Lightingâ function is a convenience facility.
It allows you to provide lighting from the vehicle
after the ignition has been placed in the LOCK
position and the headlight switch is in the OFF or
<AUTO>(where fitted) position. Pulling theheadlight
