I replaced mine for the auto dimming/ambient light mirror.
Couldn't see any wiring for it so ran a wire down to the fuse box with a piggy back fuse.

Hello Moshchops,
I am new to the forum, but not quite to Nissan.
I am looking at retrofitting an autodimming mirror.
Can you remember pinouts or wiring for the mirror the way you did yours?

As an alternative, with my present car I added a £25 gadget to the garage door opener and can now say "OK Google, Open the Garage Door" - might be an alternative solution for you?
Just to update people on this, I've also found I can put a button on the Android Auto screen to interact with the garage door but it's a bit temperamental - last time I tried (my car doesn't live in the garage so I don't really need to open the door from the car) it opened it but wouldn't shut it!
