Door Lock with Key Fob but doesn’t unlock.

Hi, I’m new here and I need some Help please.

my 2016 Nissan Qashqai locks all doors with the remote fob but will not open the doors the remote fob. I also have a keyless entry on the driver’s and passenger side door handle and when I press the button on the door handle then all doors open whilst the key is in my pocket. When I press unlock on the remote fob I can hear the doors click but a lower sound click as to opposed when I click the button on the door handle to unlock.

So basically the doors lock with the key but cannot unlock with the key. I changed the battery to Duracell on the main key and the spare key and the same thing happens.

How do I fix ?

if you can lock/unlock by pressing the door button and all works fine, try another brand of batt in the remote fob. have the fobs ever worked as there supposed to though ??

Hi.
The Fob remote has worked perfectly before for locking and unlocking. I have tried 3 different brands of new batteries. I have also sprayed lubricant on all the locks but still the same.

Not sure what else to try.

Hi Andy. I have just bought a New Battery from another store and fitted into the Fob Remote.

Everything is working perfectly now. Locking and unlocking from the Fob Remote.

I think the first batteries I bought from the other stores where defective.
