" ... but remeber that this system was originally developed for driving in Japanese cities..."
Indeed.
Now in my case that use case would be quite OK.
But that is also why I question whether the re-power QQ would also be equally beneficial for covering great distances each and every day !?
I never read (or saw) any test where this kind of use was being questioned.

The system is also installed in the larger Xtrail and with twice as many motors for AWD.

So many positive reports about the e-power.

The best way to find out whether a car meets your needs is to try it yourself and not rely on other peoples opinions which may well be biased.

fully agreed with that hootintootin !
But even if we are allowed to have test-drives of, say, 100 miles, even then is it impossible to have a good idea about this potential(!!!???0 power delivery issue and consumption
in several ways/environments while driving.
But yes, many people are indeed biased ... social media is proof of that each and every day !

Is there anyone here who test-drove both the MHEV QQ as well as the e-power version ?

I’ve had my E-Power a month now, and my previous car was the 140 MHEV J12.
I’ve had non of the issues mentioned in this thread.
The car absolutely fly’s up hills.
As regards the battery it never goes lower than 25% and this is stated in the manual as the lower level of the optimum working capacity.
If you boot it the petrol engine cuts in to supply power directly to the motor as well as from the battery.
Mine is a Tekna the same as my previous j12 and I have absolutely no regrets buying it.
