Hi,
My 2011 Qashqai+2 2.0 manual petrol has never been problematic and needed only regular servicing but today it didn’t unlock with the key. I tried both keys and changed their batteries also but no luck. I though it was the battery but then it was changed last year and even with low batteries all light should’ve come up and it should’ve at least given some electrical responses ?!?
After unlocking the car with the key manually, I tried ignition but it won’t start. There are only two lights on the dash for airbags (I think) and nothing else.
What can it be?
The attached pic shows the two lights and also worth mentioning is that when I did try ignition the orange light would shine a bit brighter than what it was when the ignition wasn’t being tried. I hope I make some sense.
TIA

You were right. The battery is showing up BAD on the multimeter. Thanks for the help!
