I replaced the split turbo pipe on my Qashqai 360 1.5dci and now the red engine management light is on.
I have had a diagnostic check carried out and it coming up with two codes,DPF and glow plugs.
Is this a coincidence as the engine was running ok until the pipe split and after replacing the pipe the light came on,but the engine is running ok.
Anyone had a similar problem?
regards
Daryl

What seems to be a common issue here is the short rubber pipe that I assume you changed. Also, a possible blockage of the associated thin metal pipe to the DPF pressure sensor...as this video shows. Not necessarily a faulty sensor. These components appear to accumulate soot badly. The thin metal pipe and rubber type connection should be checked at periodic service I would have thought? Per so many thousand miles.

The error codes will indicate a DPF sensor error (pressure) and an incorrect fuel mix causing glow plug errors (combustion) I suspect. Basically the engine can't breathe properly? The video shows two engine errors but I can't quite see them.

Have you managed to sort this?.
2013 360 1.5 diesel , I've had my car 3 years, been a dream, made sure I had full services done, passed mots. No advisories,😊 until this year..when I decided to try a new garage (highly rated) for cam belt change, mot, all new tyres, they found faults with something to do with my rear brake shoes, I asked them to sort the hand brake but it's still not fixed... billed £1000 for this.... since then, the skid lights are always on, and red eml.
( i did call the garage and he was really not interested...i know i should of gone back but im a single mum and too nervous to go back πŸ˜”) So i found a mobile mechanic, he put it on computer and apparently dpf needed regeneration..no dpf lights on though.? πŸ€”. So he did the regeneration on the computer, and that worked.. I had someone do a dpf clean as well, all fine for a while (skid lights stayed on) since then red eml back on, had new pipe fitted as it was split, next, a new sensor valve as it was blocked, .. all πŸ‘ 2 weeks later red eml back on. (Skid lights still) I don't know what to do as I spent so much, I still have few years left on finance. Any advice please πŸ™ thank you very much. Please be kindπŸ™ƒ

so now you have had the pipe replaced you should be trouble free, make sure they clear the error codes from the car with a code reader ;)

Got a tip from a friend regarding this;

Remove the DPF, block the EGR and remap due to the cost of fixing the crap. This pipe that Nissan takes 350 quids to replace, with the pipe cost of 60 quids, and the exhaust gas sensor at 360 quids should be enought to do this remap.

UPDATE
Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to reply.
thought I'd update you, ended up going to NISSAN, dpf apparently so blocked and unable to regenerate, caused pipes and rubbers to leak oil from being so full.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. So.. I'm waiting for my car to be finished, I will post the Bill, I had the service and other small bits done but the dpf is a joke. What would you guys think if there is any claim against the finance company as I bought Nov 2020 yes its 13 plate but the company said if I can prove it was like this when I bought it but I have no idea how? I mean surely I can't have blocked it since buying? I really looked after this car, long drives servicing etc. This is what I get for being goodπŸ™ˆ The car isn't worth a lot more than this bill and I still have a few more years left to pay on finance..I feel like a right foolπŸ˜’

Ok. So I finally collected my qashqai 2 days ago, the nissan garage had it for nearly 2 months. And there was a recall on my model..not sure something to do with electrical.. paid Β£2504.. Today..the red EML is back on!.
