J10 Left Speaker on Aux - no sound

Using the Aux plug i get no sound from the left speaker. If I fiddle with the plug I can get temporary sound but soon loose it. Changed the leads, changed the AUX input socket. Question is has anyone had a similar issue and managed to solve it. I'm assuming the connecting stereo plug has an issue in the socket - I know they can be different and affect connection. Yes it's pushed right in but can't seem to get a reliable stereo connection. Right speaker and other sound sources (Bluetooth, FM Radio and CD) all fine.

Does the left speakers work when you turn the head unit on and have it on radio? If no, have you checked the balance is not on right only. If it does not work still, check the wiring connector at the back of the headunit and door speakers.
If it works on the radio, then I would check the 3.5mm jack of the device you are plugging in. There is a possibility one of the prongs in the AUX jack is not touching it.
