Just taken delivery of a new Qashqai 1.3 MH N-Connecta 140, I was under the impression it came with a digital dashboard, by my car has analogue dials. Unfortunately I didn't notice when I picked up the car but will be contacting the dealer today. Wondering if anyone else has had the same issue, also not sure if you lose any functionality?

Welcome to the forum.
There has been some discussion about this but I can’t find the relevant thread.
Sadly, I think you might have to learn to live with your analog dashboard.
Something similar happened with the J11B launch where some early cars got a Connect system which ran CarPlay and some received an older version.

Hi Paul, I'm not up on the j12 specs, but might be the N connecta doesn't have the digital dash.
I'm pretty sure there's been no updates on the j12 as yet.
The way changes or updates work is e.g say the N connecta came with an analogue dash, if the spec changed on say may 1st,then every connecta from that date would have the updated dash. But if you ordered yours before that date then it wouldn't.

Welcome to this forum.
Wrong I'm afraid.
Nissan change the specs of cars frequently.
The N-Connecta orignally came with the digital dash, then owing to supply difficulties it was withdrawn and has now been reinstated.
Here's the October 2021 catalogue showing it for the N-Connecta:
Then there's the 202112 catalogue with the digital dash withdrawn from the N-Connecta:
... and then the 202204 catalogue showing it reinstated along with the larger central display:
However cars are still working themselves through the system and the infotainment change in 2018 took about 6 months to work through. Thus cars being delivered now aren't up to the April 2022 catalogue specs.
Nissan always has riders on its catalogues meaning it can change specs at will:

Checking on Autotrader and looking only at new Qashqai N-Connectas which genuinely appear to be in stock, some of them have the digital dash (about2/3) and others have conventional dials (about 1/3).
All the ones I looked at however still have the smaller central display.
This evidence suggests that Nissan started refitting the digital dash before it started fitting the 12" central screen despite both being shown in the April catalogue.

Probably due to the shortages of micro chips etc due to covid. But the changes just don't happen immediately. Everything goes through engineering, there's a given date by which all relevant work for the change to fit must be done. I know cause I worked at the plant for 30 years.
It is due to shortage of the chips. Nissan confirmed with me when I complained. But I'm still gonna get something from them as my complaint is still being dealt with but I guess I need to live with the analogue dials
