" ... Might not be worth the wait ..."
Probably so if we only look at consumption.
However ... there is far more e-power BHP, immediate EV respone and of course that new infotainment system !?

Qaifan, you might be right - this is just my well known aversion to this fake hybrid system. If you are constantly running a petrol engine and can’t cover a meaningful distance on purely stored battery power, it doesn’t make sense to me.
By the way, I don’t think it’s a new infotainment system, just a bigger screen

The range shown is calculated by the car’s computer based on the current stored mpg figure and the volume of fuel in the tank, this can and should vary slightly as you start driving.
As an example, I filled up last week and range was about 400 miles. I set off on a long drive and as my mpg figure improved the miles to refill increased. Of course it did eventually start to reduce, the further I drove. I think I set off with a stored mpg figure of about 30mpg. That improved to 48mpg as I went along my economical drive along the motorway. After 270 miles I had a recorded figure of 45mpg.

I even wonder what the consumption would be of that new 1.5 - 3 cyl engine in a Mild Hybrid car like in the 1.3 engine (not e-power).
Maybe we would be surprised !?
The 12.3 infotainment system is new, at least the User Interface is (going by Youtube Videos).
But OTOH if I look at the fixed icons on the Left/Right of the 12.3 screen that are Physical buttons on the 9" infotainment screen then I also
wonder whether that screen is actually really bigger if we calculate square inches available for 'true' variable information on those screens !?
The Aspect Ratio sure is different (Ultra Wide Angle), but the screen as a whole ... maybe not that much ... if at all !???

Hi guys, here's the fuel consumption over my first 5000 km.
60% on suburban roads at 90 km/h (56 mph)
25% on highways at 120 km/h (75 mph)
15% urban.
Mostly in ECO mode and using standard cruise control. Very satisfied.

xavpiq ... would be a good idea to test this.
With 48.3 MPG I doubt you could ever get far better MPG from even the e-power !?
Hopefully a car-magazine will do a future test on the same route of an e-power QQ vs the MHEV QQ !?

from middle of august on I switched from ECO to STANDARD drive mode and due to better responsiveness of Xtronic I am getting better fuel consumption. My everyday roads (home-office-home) are hilly and ECO mode was (is) not pleasant to use. But i have a feeling that also hybrid system work a bit better (probably due to standard drive mode) because it works pretty similar like in marketing material.....offers quite good coasting and some good pulling on easy acceleration (albeit only for few seconds). So, my everyday average home-office-home dropped from 6,1L/100km to 5,7L/100km. Also on motorway (driving 120km/h) i saw yesterday similary reduced average. I am satisfied.
