Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai - J11 (2013–2017)

I’ve recently acquired a 2017 Qashqai which I’m still getting used to.
Yesterday the car was parked on my driveway, we were all going out so I decided to open the drivers & passenger windows to let some air in before we left.
I opened the windows, locked the car & went back in the house, a few minutes later my car alarm went off.
Stopped the alarm & this time I left the car unlocked, went inside, a few minutes later the alarm was going off.

Are you not able to have the windows open whilst you’re not in the car or is this a fault?
I did ring the Nissan dealership but they couldn’t answer me!

You have to disable the internal sensors, if you want to leave the windows open.
I think you will find a button next to the rear view mirror but check in your handbook just in case
