Morning all, I have a 2019 qashqai tekna 1.3 digt.
Recently had a system failure on the screen, indicated cross collision. There didn't seem anything wrong so I disconnected the battery . After 30 mins reconnected and all ok on srart up, door mirror sensors come on then go out as normal. However when driving on the motorway, if someone passes me on an inside lane say at a junction, the door mirror sensor (passenger side) comes on as normal, but stays on even when nothing is there. No more faults displayed on the screen. Do you think I've a faulty sensor?
Still 2 months warranty left as not 3 years old yet.
Any advice appreciated thanks.

Probably worth getting into a dealer to "open a case" just in case it is faulty.
Leaving it a few weeks and not being able to get to the dealer until after warranty expires would be unfortunate
