My local Nissan garage has had my J11 (68 plate) Acenta to do the free software update, but they said it was already on the latest update and didnt need doing. However the DAB channels are continuously dropping out and randomly changing channel! does anyone know what the latest update is, and how I can check that I am on it? TIA

D605 was the last update. But your system may show a diffrent version as a newer car and can only be updated by nissan. Dab not very good as i find it poor in certain areas so you'll just have to get used to it. Or tune in to FM stations

If that truly is Connect 3 (map SDcard at top right of headunit) then no software update has been issued since production (2017).
Look in the Service Version of the System Menu:
Software F16A
Hardware 037

That might not be a Connect 3...have you a picture of it? F216 is mentioned elsewhere in this forum. Do you have an SDcard at the top right for maps.
I'm sure there are no reports of DAB problems post 2017 (F16A software and on). All serious drop outs/reboots occurred before 2017 models ....on what maybe called Connect 2.
Personally I find DAB coverage poor and have reverted to FM. DAB has poor penetration out of towns and to some extent within cities. The cars DAB antenna itself is about 5ft off the ground and invites problems. A house antenna is at least 15 foot up. Perhaps ok in open areas..motorways etc and where transmitter coverage is good.
The upshot is that DAB (unlike FM) will take considerable time to return the radio program after dropping it. That is a characteristic of the DAB system. If the signal quality value falls below a specific level the DAB receiver disables processing until that specific level is returned and remains for some seconds. So a long time recovering.

That certainly looks like a Connect 3...as mine. Can you post the menu page (Service Version) like mine...as shown below. Mine is 2017 (67 Plate)
