Hi, i have a 2011 plate qashqai+2 and have owned her for 3 years with no issues until recently! I had to replace the original battery last week as it kept refusing to start...the garage said it had less than 5% charge despite me driving 15 miles to the garage from my work 🤦‍♀️ so it had definitely given up the ghost! I had a new one fitted there and then and ive had no issues with it not starting since BUT now everytime i start the engine, the whole dashboard resets itself and the pins for the speedometer and rev counter seem to get stuck! I took it back to the garage today and they tried to plug it into the diagnostics but there was no power going through from the car to the diagnostic machine thing! They tested all the fuses but nothing was faulty or blown! I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem or knows how i can sort it without paying out a fortune for an auto electrician! 😩

As i cant upload a video to show what's happening, i have uploaded it to tiktok in the hope someone can help! Heres the link....

Did you replace the car batt to the same type as what was in the car. Like.. EFB. AGM. Or was it just a standard batt you had the car.

If it was a broadband problem, you would be advised to turn off the power completely (disconnect the battery) wait for a minute then re-connect. Might be worth a try?
