Hi

I have always admired the tyre mileage that I manage to get from all my Qashqai.
Typically with predominantly motorway driving , I will see in excess of 50K - but only when swapping the wheels and tyres front to rear after approx 25 to 30K miles.

Previously the dealer did this as they always told me that the sensors need to be reassigned.

Time to experiment:

I swapped my wheels front to rear and adjusted the tyre pressures accordingly.

I did not touch any settings in the car at all.

I went for a drive and after a few miles , checked the dash readings , and sadly - the rear tyres were reading front values and vice versa.
Therefore the rears were reading high , and the front low.

I decided to live with it , because if I did get a puncture , then I would at least get a warning of sorts.

Next day after driving a few miles , I checked the read out again , and to my utter surprise , the figures were correct.

Now I dont claim to know that the sensors definitively need to be reassigned , but this is good enough for me , and I am evening out my tyre wear.

Hope this is of some help
