Do you know if the wireless charger can be disabled? From the manual, apparently no. The point is that, according to the manual, you cannot put anything on it (wallet, keys, smart key,...), and it would be so practical !
Do you follow these warnings or don't care?

The manual states:

~ Never put metallic materials or small goods such as a cigarette lighter, Intelligent Key or memory drive on the charging pad.

and

~ Do not put an RFID/NFC/credit card between the wireless charger and a smartphone. This could cause data corruption in the card.

So other things can be?

I always keep my wallet and my iKey on my person.

The wording certainly implies that it's not actually in charging mode all the time - only when it detects a suitable device.

There certainly doesn't appear to be a simple way of disabling it, short of pulling wires. Does it have a separate fuse I wonder...

AFAIK, always active.
Would indeed be nice to have a physical button to completely disable the Wireless Charging pad at times when my
phone getting too hot otherwise while navigating with AA / Waze.

Nop. We cant turn it off but if you want to have your phone in the case and you dont want to charge it you have to put it on the notch that there is in the charger and it stops charging.

I suppose the option would be to fit a switch possibly using a genuine one from Nissan which you can install in one of the spare ports to make a neater job

Hi Gloucester,

What page of the manual is that?

I'm having trouble with the wireless charger and could not find it referenced.

Thanks

Thank you.

Now to try and have the phone connected until charge (or over heating)!
