Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021)

Hi, just received my new qq tekna, on going through the wallet with the manual in i found a booklet with rac membership. Dealer never mentioned this one, it's free for 12 months and same after every nissan service. Has anyone else come across this, i've already got rac membership so that's a bonus for me to cancel.

Picked mine up on Friday, asked about it then. Dealer said just need to give them your reg, or better yet use the help/sos option in the car and it sends them full details.

Although heard conflicting reports about the SOS button, is it just for emergency services or for breakdown as well? Dealer said he thought it was for both but wasn't sure, said he was waiting for someone to test it and find out!

It’s not a new initiative.
I got RAC membership included in the purchase of my 2014 Juke and renewed each year with Nissan servicing. Same again with all three QQs

Note that AA or RAC membership when included with new cars and with servicing is ONLY generally for that car so if you have other vehicles as well they won't be covered.

Nevertheless with my current car I've found it cheaper to retain the AA membership I get (with Suzuki - free with extended warranty) and take out a cheap separate policy for my motorbike - whereas previously I had personal breakdown cover that covered me in any vehicle.
