Hey after all this rain we been having i notice some drop water in the car, i assumed must have come from me being wet!
Anyway today got in nice and sunny and dry, started to drive and some water landed on me. Long story short..

I pulled out the interior movement sensor from the front roof lining and it was literally filled with water! also water had gone into the interior light fitting thats next to it.

I do have the J10b with panoramic roof but i cant see any cracks or damage to it, nor can i see any damage anywhere on front windowscreen.

There also doesnt seem to be any damage to the rubber seal that is between the front window and the panoramic roof.

Has anyone else had this issue? do you think replacing the rubber seal would cure the issue? if so can you get ad replace yourself or would that need to be completed by a garage?(or would autoglass be able to do it?)

any advice is welcome

Check any drainage channels are not blocked.

I had this on my X-Trail, the sunroof drain channels were blocked up, to make matters worse the hose clips that carry the drain hose were not sufficient enough and water also seeped back through this. I ended up putting some cable ties on them and also stuck flexible curtain rod down the drain channel to clear it.

Has the front screen ever been replaced - an insufficient bead of adhesive will cause a leak

Are there any drainage channels? It's a fixed glass panoramic roof so not like an opening sunroof at all. Why would there be drainage channels?

I'd go with water getting in through the windscreen - probably quite a pressure at the top when the car's going along at speed.

Oh, I thought it was a panoramic sunroof. Did not know there was fixed glass version.

Certainly J11, J11B and J12 models all come with "Panoramic Roofs" which are simply fixed glass "roof windows" with a retractable blind under. The glass does not open.

My understanding from looking at J10 brochures is that they are the same - for example:

EDIT - apparently the roof can withstand the "weight of a bear without breaking" - something I hadn't come across before.

Perhaps it's a Koala Bear?

lol @ Koala Bear. I don think I get the non opening roof that is glass. I guess it can warm your interior up on bright days and it is still cold outside like a greenhouse, but summer, the shade is best left covered or you would be in for a roasting.
