Hi all,

I'm looking to buy seat belt extenders (similar to the below image) for my 2016 Tekna in order to accommodate the 3 child booster seats I have on the back seats. My understanding is that the seat belts in Nissans are not the "universal" size, and indeed the extenders I have from my previous car (a Ford) do not fit in my Qashqai.

Has anyone had a similar issue and knows where I can order the correctly sized seat belt extenders? I've looked all over eBay and Amazon but they only appear to be the "universal" fit!

Thank you

Welcome to this forum.

I can't remember this issue being raised previously.

It was discussed a long time ago but the answer then seemed to be buy an Isofix seat.

https://thecarseatlady.com/seat-belt-extenders-2/ suggests in America Nissan dealers sell them:

... but they go on to say:

Thanks for the reply. It does seem odd that the extenders are perfectly safe for use with obesity yet far too dangerous for pretty much anything else!

I think it's because they potentially put the bucket in the wrong place and that could then lead to point injury or damage?
