After the last time I was in, they said it would need a new camera.

They said they would book me in for two weeks time to allow the part to arrive. An hour after dropping the car off yesterday I got a phone call to say the part hadn't arrived and that it would arrive and be fixed by today.

Got a phone call today to say the camera had been fitted but Nissan's computer system was down and they couldn't recalibrate the camera without it and would now be ready for tomorrow.

I'm actually lost for words on how poor Nissan has been. I'm also in the middle of arguing with them about an oil loss problem which they refuse to acknowledge, but that's a whole other story.

New camera fitted today and recalibrated.

I've been assured this is a rare problem and this will fix it.

Only time will tell...

My beloved QQ has just started to display this fault since we have had bad/cold weather. I think I will remove & clean the plugs for the rear camera & ultrasonic sensors first before taking to the dealers.
