I would suggest getting the battery checked first of all if you have a Fiamm battery. These fail and give all sorts of errors/warning messages. Nissan have filed a major lawsuit against Fiamm and have replaced literally thousands of batteries as a result. Not saying this is definitely the fault but certainly worth looking at. My stop/start system worked when it felt like it from new and at the second service I was told that the battery was replaced due to a couple of faulty cells, I didn't have any other issues with the car but stop/start now works every time it should.

Welcome to this forum.
These things are often related to the battery.

Thank you for the reply, I've checked the battery, 12.5V and ok, car starts every time and is drivable for the past week so it cannot be the battery.gloucester wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:21 pm Welcome to this forum.

My dashboard was once like blackpool illuminations, cause was faulty wheel sensor.niqashqai wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 7:32 am Thanks Lewis, I have read in other posts that animals can chew at the wiring; I had a quick look under the rear but nothing obvious.
I had a chat with my mechanic who thinks a wheel sensor may be causing the issue "only offside rear pressure not working" but we'll know better when we get it up on the ramp.

Sorry but a voltage of 12.5v and car starting ok is not a battery check, this needs to be done with the proper equipment, as I said above, no issues with my car at all except stop/start reticent and Nissan changed the battery as it had bad cells. They don't do this for the fun of it, the cost of the battery on the paperwork was just short of £200.

It goes up to approx 14v when running before settling back to around 12v and doesn’t ever drop below 12v even if left over night. Maybe you’re right, no doubt the garage will sting me for a new one either way.fbgqashqai wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 8:36 am Sorry but a voltage of 12.5v and car starting ok is not a battery check, this needs to be done with the proper equipment, as I said above, no issues with my car at all except stop/start reticent and Nissan changed the battery as it had bad cells. From what I have read and seen online it seems to be a blocked exhaust pressure sensor pipe that causes this fault, either that and/or the sensor itself needs replacing. I’ve booked it into the garage now so I’ll let you all know what they come back with.
(It would be nice if the others who have reported this problem did the same….)

The battery in my car was working fine but they still changed it under warranty in an unsuccessful attempt to get the start/stop to work.jimiskewl wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 6:06 pmThank you for the reply, I've checked the battery, 12.5V and ok, car starts every time and is drivable for the past week so it cannot be the battery.gloucester wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:21 pm Welcome to this forum.
