I turned onto WELT TV yesterday evening and some interesting Engineering & Assembly Techniques popped up on the BMW Motorcycle Factory in Spandau Berlin. I have found the video in English and thought it might be of interest to the Engineers & Motorcycle members although a bit long but it is Sunday, take a look after cleaning the QQ 🤭 - Dave 😉

“In 1939, Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) acquired the production facility in Spandau and started manufacturing motorcycle parts in 1949. The first BMW motorcycle made entirely in Berlin came off the assembly line in 1969.
On a site of almost 220,000 square meters with a number of listed buildings, 2,100 employees produce up to 800 motorcycles from the Sport, Tour, Roadster, Heritage, Adventure and Urban Mobility segments every day. A finished bike rolls off the production line every 62 seconds.”
