Hi all, so I've not had my qashqai for long (still getting use to things) but I love it so far. The following happened earlier today which I had not come across before, just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar.
Bascially at the traffic lights, the auto stop/start kicked in then when I went to drive off I must have stalled I think Following that I started the car again and all these warning lights came on...
I drove for about 5mins until I got to the gym, switched the car 'off and on again' once I parked up and all the lights went away and it was driving fine from there on.
Should I be worried, could this just been some sort of glitch when I stalled?
Just to add, I noticed when these lights came on the screen - the physical auto stop start button under the steering was also lit.
Combination of these lights came on at once...

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't battery related - most things are on these cars!

Thanks all, didn't realise it could be battery related. I only brought the car a few weeks ago and on handover paperwork they did a 100 point check as it was 'nissan approved' scheme. The battery level and condition were checked as part of that and ticked.
Do you think I should wait and see if it happens again and then mention to dealer if it continues?

Yeah mine was 100+ point checked too, by 2 different 'technicians'. Within 2 miles driving I called them about a gearbox noise, and then had a new one fitted!amz2740 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 8:16 pm Thanks all, didn't realise it could be battery related. Nissan approved means nothing sadly. Yes get it back in to them, you have that photo as proof of a fault.

Thanks, would you recommend going back to the dealer I got the car from which was further out. Or call a local Nissan dealer nearer to me. Is this something that may be taken care of as part of extended warranty. Sorry for all the questions.phatboy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 8:18 pmYeah mine was 100+ point checked too, by 2 different 'technicians'. Original supplier would be best. Ring them up and discuss.

Spoke to dealer this morning and emailed photo over.
"The general view, having spoken to our service department, is that it was a glitch, and the engine management light would have stayed on if there was a problem. Yellow engine light means that there is a fault code stored, if red light comes on and stays on, then immediate attention is required. Monitor it for a week or so, and if anything like it happens again, it would be worth booking in to be looked at."
I did think it could be a general glitch initially but just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious. I will take this advice and monitor, hopefully it doesn't happen again but if it does I will book it straight in.
