Hi,
Hope someone can help, how to remove rear door handle (outside). Outside temp is quite low (around -20C) and now driver side rear door will not close. I suspect that some ice may be somwhere near door handle.
If I park in warm garage, then after some time, I can close the door. So maybe ice melts then.
Door handle removal
Fortunately for me I never encounter those sort of low temperatures. Sadly for you I dont really know a viable solution, however I dont feel that removing the door handle to re-lubricate the mechanics will be of much help at those temperatures. You may needcto look at specialist lubricants/products such as are available to for use on snowmobiles and the like. In the past ive used 'normal products' in locks etc at only mildly low temps, ie. minus 5ºC and they failed to protect against freezing. Maybe some others on here dan be of more specific help.

Atif, I am not sure if this will help but it might give you some ideas. This stuff I have used on our Micra, Note, Juke and now the QQ and it has helped but I must say we have not had it down to -20C for some time. Do not forget to lubricate the rubber seals also - Good Luck Dave

Thanks, Dave!
I appreciate your help. I managed to remove door handle and used pressurized air to remove some water and wd40 to grease moving parts.
Tomorrow will see, if that helps.
Here, in Estonia, we have -10 today and intense snow, but next week we will have -25 or so.
