2016 (66) reg 1.6 Petrol Qashqai failed in emissions

Hi Guys,

I seen some other people discuss this before but what was the outcome in the end?

I bought my Qashqai about 3 years ago the first year it was fine and then 2nd year and this year 3rd it failed on emissions. My garage checked everything including the Cat and Oxygen sensors and it all seems fine.

First time this happened I was told this is to do with an ECU update so I took it in got it done and it was fixed, I got another appointment to do the same thing again.

I am just really annoyed because its not just me who is having this issue but it feels like Nissan is being oblivious about this issue and refuse to take ownership of it.

Did anyone else have this issue and manage to sort it for good in the end?

I own a 2012 1.6L petrol from new. It has only driven 66k miles and never failed an MOT due to emissions.
How many miles has yours done>

Its done 77k miles but its just weird that this ECU update has passed it last year
