I have a '66 Qashqai and recently, when I check or inflate my tyres, the offside front one just registers all sorts of odd numbers. Anything from 80ish to over 100, and constantly flashing from one thing to another. Only happens with this tyre. I though it was the machine I have, but it only happens with this tyre. It was replaced some months back, so I don't know if something has happened at that point and has damaged the sensor.
Any info would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance. :)

Check pressure correct. Reset and see what happens

Thanks for your response.
I can't check, or reset the pressure though, because as soon as I attach the machine, it goes haywire. The other tyres react correctly, showing the current pressure when I attach the cable, and then inflating as normal.

So if tyres are correct pressure store it on the tyre menu on the dash.

Check with a pressure gauge, not just the machine you use to inflate it. If the pressure gauge exhibits the same issue get the valve replaced.

Perhaps I'm not explaining this correctly. All the tyres show the correct pressure on the dashboard , until one is low. The only low one has only been the front drivers side. When I inflate it, it's fine, but if I go to check the offside tyre, it doesn't show the correct pressure and then it randomly swings around with all sorts of numbers. The issue isn't with the dashboard pressures being shown, it's only when I try to inflate the tyres, and the only problem one is the offside front.
Both front tyres were replacde earlier this year, and I wasn't impressed with the process when the offside one was done, so I feel something has happened at that point.

I looked at it again yesterday and the valve does look damaged, so I'll have to take it to the garage.
Thanks.
