Rear lights always on

Hello! I've got a 2011 dCi n-tec which has recently developed a fault where its rear side lights at always on, even when the key is out of the ignition (it also started sporadically showing engine warning lights and traction control warnings which may or may not be related).

Has anyone seen the same problem with the rear side lights? Any ideas what it might be? I've tried disconnecting the battery for a while, which didn't fix it either (apart from when the battery was disconnected! )
