I noticed a loose screw in the rigtht hand side upper part of the boot lid of my 2017 Qashqai. Not sure what it is supposed to be fixing, but it's loose and stuck within the panel space, not sure how to remove it, any ideas?

I noticed a loose screw in the rigtht hand side upper part of the boot lid of my 2017 Qashqai. Not sure what it is supposed to be fixing, but it's loose and stuck within the panel space, not sure how to remove it, any ideas?
Is it not holding the trim on where the rear washer and top brake light is. Looks like somwbody has had a panel trim off at some point and forgot to fix everything back propley 
As for removeing have you had a pair of pliers on it and tried to undo the bolt a little thats on the trim to make the gap a big bigger to be able to pull it free
