Sat nav and hud

Hi
Sometimes when I use the sat nav the directions appear on the hud and some times they don't. I use Android auto. Could someone please explain. Thanks

I've found the directions only appear in the hud when using the Nissan inbuilt satnav, directions only show in the infotainment screen with android auto, not on the hud.

As Bigsquid60 says, only the built in SatNav echoes onto the heads up display

Mine is a 72 plate Qashqai epower Acenta Premium. It comes with no hud. Can I ask my dealer to add one? and how much is it? Thank you.

Think you'll find they won't be able to fit one just like that as wires etc won't be in place and would cost you a few thousand aswell

You'd need a new dashboard and windscreen for a start. Cheaper to swap your current version for a car with a HUD.
