Bonnet switch, part of the security system and stops/start system.

Thanks for reply but I don't think it is. It's on the right behind the battery and has two pipes (8mm ish) coming of it.

It's the turbocharger solenoid, the hoses to it, one is vacuum supply and the other hose goes the turbo, its what operates the arm that moves the vains in the VGT turbo.
