Turbo not working properly

Hi, not entirely sure this is in the right place, apologies if that’s the case, last winter I had problems with my turbo, sometimes I’d get in the car and the car would be flat and the turbo wouldn’t be working properly, then some days it would be fine, this was from maybe December to march intermittently, all the though spring,summer and autumn it was fine not a single problem but now the weather has dipped again the same problem is back, it’s not smoking and the engine generally sounds fine, it’s just pot luck if the car pulls as normal or pulls like the turbo isn’t spooling properly, any ideas? Sometimes as I’m driving it’ll start working again half way through my journey and other times not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, qashqai +2 2012 1.6 diesel, the car also isn’t throwing out any fault codes.
