I have only front and rear camera

Hello, I have a qahqai, made in 12.2012, in UK, and I bought it from Belgium. The funny stuff is this: is an Acenta model, 1.5 dci engine, and I have a rear view camera, witch switch on when I go to reverse, and I also have a wired front camera in the nissan badge, but I didn`t find a way to use this camera. I do not have the "camera" button on the dashboard, and I don`t have cameras in the mirrors either. Why was this front camera there? Is there someone in the same situation, can I make it to be on in some conditions? From what I read here, in some countries it was forbidden to have a front camera to you can not detect the speed cameras. Or, did my nissan had a sign detection through that camera? thanks in advance for replys..

Maybe someone has replaced the front grille with not quite the correct one for the model?

Welcome to this forum.

I'd suggest exactly the same as the comment above - an Acenta shouldn't have a front or 360 cameras.

Ok, could be that ex owner replaced the grill. But also the wiring was there, I repeat, the camera is connected somehow to something. And no, in the mirrors I don`t have camera, so no 360 cameras. I just want to know if there was some options with only rear and front cameras, and front cameras to be used for traffic sign detection

Seems like the Acenta originally in 2011 didn't even have a reversing camera? Just parking sensors?

You needed n-tec+ to get 360.

However it seems in 2012 "Nissan Connect (with colour reversing camera)" became optional for £700.

Perhaps it's an n-tec+ but both mirrors have been replaced with downgraded versions?

Or maybe at some point 360 was available as an option on the Acenta? Nissan do keep changing specifications constantly!
