Clutch clicking

Follow the clutch arm until you see a small black plug attached to the right side. Push it and it should click into place. That's what did it for me! J10 2010

Mine keeps popping out again. Turns out it's part of the master cylinder rod. Quite a common problem. Going to try using a cable tie.

The clicking is from the pedel , the push rod is made of plastic and the push on end is a plastic push on cage [like what goes on boot strut top and bottom ] mine wore and started jumping off , clicking first , when this happens garages would replace whole pushrod to slave cylinder.
Ive found easy fix , get the screw on ball bit of old boot strut , saw screw end of leaving just ball socket , snip plastic cage of end of slipping cage push on , leaving the flat platic end on , put thin metal washer on them push the locking boot stut end on , job done , better than paying £80 for new plus garage charges
