My boot slams shut very easily, to close it I just hold it about an inch or 2 from closing and let go and it closes ok, anything above 6 inches and the thing slams.
No matter how many times I remind my wife, she slams it, it's only a matter of time before she smashes the glass.
The boot stays up when opened so I'm not sure if it's just the struts that need replacing.
I don't trust the local Nissan dealer, I had an issue where my roof rail was loose on the rear passenger side
and the tech just bent the roof liner to get to the bolt, now I have to look at a creased roof liner.
I'd love some advice please.
I've searched the forum but can't see this issue being address elsewhere.
