2019 Tekna does not auto lock doors :(

My 2019 Qashqai Tekna doesn't auto lock doors after moving off from 1st gear.

Is there a way to enable this? I have checked all settings on central dash and to no avail.

Nope. But nothing stopping you from pressing the door lock button on the door once your ready to drive off. 😉

Or you can buy an OBD plug in gadget that will do this.

Just out or interest. Is this a feature on the j12 tekna as I have it on my current 3008 and it’s very handy so will be happy it it is when I get my QQ

Nissan deleted auto locking years ago (at least 9 years, that’s when I got my first Nissan)
If you want auto locking Qashqai (X-Trail, etc.) aren’t for you
March '22 - J12 1.3DIG-T 160 CVT Tekna+ with all wheel drive - Pearl Black
July '19 - J11B 1.3DIG-T 160 DCT Tekna - Vivid Blue
March '17 - Qashqai J11A 1.5dci n-connecta - gunmetal

Strange the QQ never had this useful feature; when the Infiniti was made on the adjacent
line at Sunderland factory, that model did have it.

It’s not enough to discount the QQ as I did not even check it had the feature before ordering but what my current 3008 lacks over what I will get in the Tekna makes up for it. What I do miss tho and not sure what cars have it but when you walked away from the Kadjar I had pre the 3008 to go in the house the car would lock itself when the key was away from the car now that was a fab feature I do miss.
