Hi all

I manage to bend a rod in the roof liner and now it won't fully close.

I called Nissan for a repair, got quoted £2400 (£1200 for that part and £1200 labour)!???!?!!!

Can anyone suggest a realistic option to repair replace? Is it possible to heat the plastic rod without burning the sunroof fabric? That would be my no.1 option

Thanks
Martin

Just check it's the correct colour.... the Tekna + has a dark one, where as the other variants are all lighter grey on the inside!

I've not checked, but fitting doesn't look to be complex..... A, B & C pillar trims off, interior lights (Including microphone) down, then lower the headlining and swap it out. Probably allow a half day, and wash your hands after touching anything even remotely greasy ;)

When I installed my front and rear dash cams the roof lining was easily dropped for wiring. The youtube not too clear but gives a good idea of whats involved
