Tailgate beeps

Hi

One thing I have found really annoying on the J12 is the volume of the warning beeps on operating the tailgate.
Doesn't seem any way to reduce this volume, similarly the speed camera warning alarm is barely audible when music playing, again, doesn't seem any way to increase this volume.

I don’t have speed camera alert (that I know of) so can’t comment.
I suspect Nanny Nissan wants to provide absolutely no excuse for anyone braining themselves on the tailgate and so made it a good loud beep.

Your help please. I have tried to set up speed camera alerts without success. I can get the camera showing up on the map but no sound alert. How do you do it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Its in the menu, under safety settings...I think, I will check.

Yep just checked..,Navigation-Settings-Safety Information, 2 options, show on map and the other is alerts.

Thanks for that. Just checked my setting - both settings are on. Do not hear any alert, only see icon on map. Does it say ‘speed camera’ or just a beep. Wondering whether level is that low I don’t even hear it !

Just the two options, no actual mention of "speed cameras" as such, when I ticked the second option that's when I got the beeps active.
It is very muted though so maybe you have it on and just cant hear it.

I tried the speed camera alert thing this morning on a jaunt to Doncaster.
Plenty loud enough for me but I’ve turned it off as it annoying.
