Welcome to this forum

After searching on this forum and finding and reading lots of CVT issues, try ringing a CVT repair specialist and talking it through with them.

Thanks very much - have you had a CVT repair? Just wondering how long it will last if there is a design fault?? Have you had a repair?

Thank you for responding .

No I haven't - I bought a manual since they were more obtainable. I did regret that since the gearshalt was rather wallowy.

We have the same problem with 2013 Model - will be interested in what response you get from Nissan - dithering about what to do.

Welcome Saurabh to this forum.

Problems with CVT transmissions are well known. Check out this American site - https://www.advancetransmissions.org/nissan-cvt-transmission-continuously-variable-transmission/

You might ring these people to discuss options if Nissan don't play ball - and to be honest I suspect they won't after seven years despite the low mileage. You seem to have an unsympathetic dealer too?

So Nissan has come back to me and said they are not going to do a good will, Now I am considering legal options as there are may cars who have there gearbox failed. I will get the Data from garages who are saying these is common problem with Nissan. If anyone has any suggestion please let me know
