How smooth is your gear shift (manual box)? Is it smooth between all gears or notchy?
My 2016 1.5dci manual is very notchy esp going into 1st and between 1st & 2nd. I've already changed the gearbox fluid & the gearlever mechanism But i'm now thinking of bleeding the clutch.
If everyone else's is smooth then i'll investigate further, but if they are all like it, then i won't.
Your experience would be appreaciated.

All depends on what you’re used to I guess?
Mine is quite fluid but you can feel the gears.

Thanks for the reply, mine is notchy between first and second and less so going into other gears.
It’s almost as if the clutch has a slight delay in engagement and disengagement when shifting.

Mine (1.5 dci 2019) in general is smooth, but now I'm facing the issue described here not sure if you feel the same on yours: viewtopic.php?t=15103

Mines a bit notchy at 78k miles on the clock. I think it may need an oil drop to make it a bit more smooth but it engages absolutely fine.

Mines a bit notchy 1st to 2nd.
May seem a bit odd, but I had the battery off for a bit the other day and the car has driven a lot nicer since. Guessing it's reset something that the ECU had learned.

Mine was clunky and with a loud plasticky sound, Nissan salesman said they were all like that, that was at 18k, I bought it and re greased the stick, now at 46500 and its less plasticky sounding, I changed my gear oil and its a bit smoother so I'm assuming its down to the cable gearshift. Doesn't really bother me now.

You know those hand toys you used to get as kids- the ones where you had to tilt small ball bearings into various indentations?
That sort of describes the operation of my 2011, 1.6 petrol jobbie.
I must say though, sloppy and loose as it is- it seems to slot into the appropriate indentations ok.....
(maybe your ball bearing are a bit wonky...)
Definitely not the smoothest or most precise selctors I've ever used.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
By the way Mark65, what gearbox oil did you use?
