In order to make the connection, you need to assemble the parts.
Even if I explain it, you may not be able to do it whitout relay.
I have some ready-made ones, I can send them to you if you want, ready to install.
Best Regards

The relay and the switch are mainly used to protect the circuit a little more, or to add some other signal, such as a light, in another place. Also, to be able to disconnect the system in case of malfunction, or if it comes loose from the bottle while driving and not have to be in the middle of the road disconnecting the cable. I have noticed that the detector with certain frequency inhibitors is deactivated, and it is quite unpleasant when you pass near an industrial estate and every few meters it beeps at you, or to extend the life of the system components. In both ways, with or without a relay, it works. Since each one mounts it as he can, since the only thing we know for sure is that Nissan and Renault are not going to give any answer. My car is a Nissan Qashqai 1.3 DIG, 2019 year.
I used a liquid level sensor, glued to the expansion tank. When the liquid level is low, it sounds.
It starts when the ignition is switched on.
You need only a level sensor and a buzzer. You don't need any relay.
I let you videos.
It is the best solution to save our motors.
Best regards.

I’ve read everything here in some depth, and I’m grateful to all those that have gone to the trouble to post videos and take the time to describe things in detail. Obviously a buzzer or a flashing light on the dashboard telling you that the water level in the coolant bottle has dropped makes sense. I’ve ordered these parts tonight from Ali Express for around £5.
My worries though are that most of these housing problems occur at high speed on motorways, and usually it happens suddenly with the housing completely exploding in two, any water loss would be instant and the system would be completely empty within seconds.
If you are on a motorway and the buzzer sounds by the time you’ve indicated and made your move to the hard shoulder and brought the car to a complete stop there will be no water whatsoever and the engine will be red hot and completely cooked by then.
I can see it being useful if a leak develops on the flange prior to it exploding but I don’t think that’s often unfortunately.
Should a leak develops anywhere else on the system , a slow leak then it would advise you which is a good thing.
A pack of two buzzers are 83p these are two types of liquid sensors.

You can better still install a light on the dashboard telling which will only illuminate if the water level drops, better than a tiny buzzer which you may not hear at 70 mph with a CD blasting. Use the external indicator in my first picture and a Duracell battery, it should last for years as the battery is only in use as and when it drops.

My qashhqai 2020 just had a thermostat leakage with no warning on the panel at any point. I only realized there was a problem when it was already at a serious point with steam coming from the engine! I have had all services done at the official Nissan garage in Portugal and also the guarantee had only just terminated in the beginning of this year. I am shocked to see through online forums and from my local Nissan garage that this is a recurrent problem with Qashqai model 2019 /2020. It is very serious. I am waiting for a reply from Nissan regarding the assuming responsiibilty for the costs. The thermostat will have to be replaced and only then will it be possible to verify if there is further damage to the engine.

It is incredible that the Renault Dacia Nissan group does not provide a solution to such an easy thing, like reinforcing the plastic part, why wait until we change the engine several times? we all had to do something
